Now it's Blessed Oscar Romero

By Duane WH Arnold, PhD (Indiana, USA):
So, after his murder at the altar, years of civil war, inquiries by Pontifical Commissions, countless examinations of his writings, homilies and manner of life, Bl. Oscar Romero takes his place among the heroes of the faith.  He already held that place of reverence in the hearts of those who knew him, but today is the acknowledgement of the Church universal of a man who died for his faith, who loved until the end, who has served as an inspiration to countless millions over the past thirty-five years.
“Rejoice... and again I say, Rejoice!”
